What A Girl Wants...
I have been thinking a lot recently about keeping a really great versatile pair of heels in my car (or office) - so that where ever I go, I can get dressed up in a jiffy if need be. You know those times, when you unexpectedly end up going to an event where you want to look extra cute - but your comfy flats just aren't cutting it.
So this go-to pair would have to be really wearable, with possibilities to match almost any outfit and provide elegance for a fairly formal function or an extra pop on a blah errand-running ensemble.
I still haven't really found a perfect pair - but I am considering a few different criteria. These shoes must be a neutral color to go with anything. It seems to me that a nude, metallic, grey, or bold color (like bright green or yellow!) would be the best choices. I feel like a classic shape would be best - maybe a nice peep-toe pump? Although this could limit things if you were in dire need of a pedi... hmm... I guess I'll just have to make sure I keep my tootsies in good shape ;) The shoes would also have to be made of a fairly wearable material - no satin or suede in case there is inclimate weather. The heel would have to not be too TOO high, in case a bit a walking was involved.

I have a slight obsession with gold things lately so I really liked the first pair of gold ones. But I also loved the Dolce Vita cream ones. I love the shape. But I would be tempted to have something dark like the LAMB ones that would work for fall and winter. Although, I would not claim to be any sort of authority on this!
P.S. I know this will sound crazy, but Crocs has a new line of shoes that are supposed to be comfortable AND fashionable. It's called YOU by Crocs. They have heels and wedges with patent leather. Just thought you might like to know, in case you hadn't heard.
Thanks - I must admit those Crocs are *alright* I will never actually like them on principle alone.
I really like those Paris Hilton Catalina shoes. The Dolce Vita Madison pair are gorgeous. And the Forever 21 Jelena slingbacks are fabulous.
I think the Dolce would suit you best in a pinch if you had to choose from all, though I really like those Hilton's.

Surprisingly (like you!) I really like the Paris Hilton shoes. Nice classic style, with a little cute thrown in, plus the deep gray is beautiful and would work well with black as well as many other colors.
